Maruka Bldg Art Galleries: Bakurocho
Bakurocho / Art gallery
Open 2-7pm. Closed Mon, Tue.
Free admission
Average visit time: 5-20 minutes
This small building on a Bakurocho side street looks like it's midway through the process of being demolished, but it's actually home to three cutting-edge contemporary art galleries on its three floors. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're doing a gallery tour of the Bakurocho art district.
Fourth floor: Con_ Gallery (closed Monday through Wednesday.) https://www.contokyo.com/.
Third floor: NEORT++ (closed Monday and Tuesday) https://two.neort.io/en
Second floor: parcel (closed Monday and Tuesday) https://parceltokyo.jp/
Note that parcel (lower-case) is a sister gallery of PARCEL (upper-case) just around the corner, which is also worth a visit.
