Located on the seventh floor of DiverCity shopping mall in Aomi, this megastore and mini theme park is devoted to the giant battle robots of the popular Gundam anime series. Hardcore fans will enjoy exploring the galleries showcasing historic Gundam models through the years, and the "factory" section showing off some of the machinery and molds used to make the models.

There's also a builders' room where you can assemble your own models onsite, a painting room, a clothing store and an event space. Of course there's plenty of merchandise on sale throughout the sprawling complex, some of it exclusive to this location.

Because the seventh floor of DiverCity is divided into several non-contiguous sections the easiest way to reach here is to go to the sixth floor, then look for the up escalator with signs pointing to Gundam Base.

In case you're having trouble finding DiverCity, just look for the 19-meter-high mockup of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam robot standing outside the mall. There's also a Gundam Cafe located on the second floor.
