Specializing in ukiyoe (woodblock prints), this three-story museum puts together thematic exhibitions every month showcasing portions of their collection of 12,000 woodblock prints. Around half the prints on display any given month have English-language descriptions, which vary in quality.
The museum shop in the basement is accessible by a separate entrance, and has a large collection of colorful and frameable handkerchiefs in traditional patterns as well as typical souvenir items like chopsticks, folding fans and pottery.
Note that the museum is closed for a few days a month while they change the exhibitions.
